how it works

Emma works closely with clients to dream up new event concepts; develop themes or narratives; expand existing programmes and explore new entertainment ideas. Helping to support or shape the venue or events identity along the way.

Emma can suggest artists, speakers, facilitators, and partner organisations; and provide line-ups, timetables, or curated event calendars, which respond to audience demographic goals, venue or company ethos and marketing aims, whilst working within budget requirements.

Programming work can take the form of consultancy and/or strategy documents; company brainstorms and creative meetings; artist/content partner availability research; as well as bookings and contracting.

Emma can suggest artists, creative organisations, theatre & performance companies and cultural institutions which will meet and complement your core objectives.  Enabling you to extend your network, develop new content and reach new audiences. Emma can manage key relationships and communications on your behalf or make personal introductions should the project require.

Working with you to best understand your target audience and desired demographics, Emma can advise on which programming strategies can help grow your event, whilst also encouraging your core audience to return. Working closely with you to develop an audience development strategy through a programming lens.

Once all aspects of the programming strategy or provisional line-ups and schedules have been agreed, Emma and her team will be able to move forward on making offers and negotiating fees on your behalf.
